By putting a spin on an existing concept, Body Masters has once again shown why they are a leading innovator in the industry. Body Masters debuted this 10 piece new Functional Circuit Series at the Club Industry Trade Show in Chicago.
The new Body Masters Functional Circuit Series gives club owners a new option of functional units from which to choose. These state of the art units allow personal trainers to instruct groups of clients simultaneously by using our unique functional movements. Based on our highly innovative and successful Circuit Master Series, the Functional Circuit Series consists of ten modular units that can be configured to accommodate any location.
The initial units consist of a Calf Trainer, Chest Press, Core Body Stabilizer, Lat Pulldown/Row, Leg Extension, Posterior Leg & Hip, Shoulder Press/Bicep, Standing Abdominal, and a Hi-Lo Pulley system able to be setup as a cable crossover.
The Functional Circuit Series offers unique exercise designs featuring multi-pattern exercises for core strength and stabilization, there are no designs in the market like it. Our machines allow users to perform movements used in everyday life through aerobic/anaerobic exercise. With choice of configuration, equipment can be set up in two, three, four, or five station modules. The modern equipment design makes it user friendly with no adjustments. Owners can provide their members and trainers with a complete circuit featuring upper and lower body units.

Constructed of our own proprietary heavy wall, ob-round tubing its the first line of its type to make your free weight area more attractive to users all of levels.

March 2004 | Partner with Leader in Stability Ball Training and Education
Body Masters Sports Industries, Inc.® announces the signing of an exclusive licensing agreement with Resist-A-Ball, Inc.®, pioneer and leader in stability ball education and training. This agreement allows Body Masters to market, sell, and distribute internationally, Resist-A-Ball brand products through various channels in the fitness and consumer industry. Distribution channels will consist of the current Body Masters sales structure, the Resist-A-Ball trainer network, and a new e-business solution.
Body Masters has created a small products division managed by Brian Bille, Marketing Director at Body Masters, and Mike & Stephanie Morris, Owners and Founders of Resist-A-Ball. “When this opportunity came to the table, we saw it as the perfect chance to diversify the company in its 25th year of operations. With a company the caliber of Resist-A-Ball, coupled with the brand and market recognition they have, it made good business sense to bring these two companies together,” according to Bille.
The education arm of Resist-A-Ball will move its operations to Body Masters’ corporate facility in Rayne, LA. “We are looking forward to continued success with Resist-A-Ball while teaming up with Body Masters. Their team is very responsive to new ideas and committed to keeping Resist-A-Ball as the premier leader in stability ball education,” states Mike Morris. Daryl Shute, Core Education Director for Resist-A-Ball, will join the Body Masters team to work with the Morris’ and Bille in developing new and exciting educational workshops and products.
Resist-A-Ball has been educating users on the stability ball since 1992. Resist-A-Ball’s mission is to continue creating a world market with credible education and quality products through a professional network of fitness and health educators for Resist-A-Ball training. Resist-A-Ball sets the standards by providing a universal language for safe and effective exercise programs while utilizing a Resist-A-Ball brand stability ball. January 2004| New Functional Trainer
Body Masters Sports Industries, Inc. introduces its latest product to reach multiple markets, the FT 1000 Functional Trainer. Having shown this unit at Club Industry 2003 and Athletic Business Conference 2003, it is now available for purchase and is currently shipping. The unit features:
* Multi-directional, swivel brackets designed to respond freely and
quickly to the user's direction of movement.
* Ten vertical and six horizontal adjustments employ levers designed to
allow simultaneous adjustment in both planes.
* Frame and exercise arms constructed from 2" x 3" 11-gauge
rectangular tubing to eliminate arm flex and provide overall machine
stability.
* Counterbalanced arms make adjustments effortless to achieve
various positions for multiple exercises.
* High-impact scuff guards protect the feet of the machine from chips
and scratches.
* Rubber floor pads make the unit skid free and scratch resistant to the
floor.
* Highly visible instructional placard showing multiple exercise choices.
* 1-¼" padded ballet bar provides stability during various exercises.
* Accessory storage rack for extra handles.
* Featuring an industry first, using Spectra cord instead of cable, will
allow for a smoother feel, increased durability and optimal tracking
along the pulleys.

November 2003| Customer Service At Its Best
Body Masters Sports Industries, Inc. would like to announce the promotion of Brent Richard to Director of Customer Service. In his seven years at Body Masters, Richard performed duties as a Customer Service Representative and most recently as Traffic Manager.

October 2003 | Design for the Professional by Demanding Professionals
Having made a successful debut at the 26th Annual NSCA National Conference in Indianapolis in July, Body Masters would like to announce that their new Athletic Performance Series is now available for shipment. Included in this line are an Advanced Power Rack, an Advanced Half Rack, Power Bench, and Glute/Ham Bench.
The racks are available in 8’ and 9’ heights and come standard with front bar hooks, safety bars, and a spotter’s platform. All racks are constructed of heavy-wall 3” x 4” tubing. For optimal positioning, the user can adjust the safety bars in 3.5” increments on the Half Rack and 1.75” increments for the Power Rack. Optional accessories to complement the racks include technique trays, reverse bar hooks, wooden platforms in 6’ or 8’ lengths, and a telescoping Power Bench. The Glute/Ham bench allows users to perform Glute extension exercises as well as reverse hyperextension exercises and a handful of abdominal movements.
“We explored the possibility of aggressively entering this market for quite some time. We feel the Athletic Performance Series gives Body Masters another avenue to bring our diverse product mix to the collegiate athletic market as well as professional sports teams, and high schools,” says Brian Bille, Marketing Director.

July 2003 | Body Masters Hires Industry Leading Designer
Body Masters Sports Industries Inc. announces the hiring of leading industry designer, Mike Luquette, as Vice President of Product Development. Luquette rejoins the Body Masters Research and Development Department after leaving the company in 1996 to explore personal business interests. Mike was instrumental in the success of Body Masters with the creation of the most innovative line of equipment of its time, the MD Series. In his 17 years with the company, he pioneered the design of many exercise machine standards used today by all of equipment companies.
"We are excited to have an individual of Mike's caliber and experience level back to lead the Body Masters R&D Department. His return reinforces Body Masters' commitment to releasing new and exciting innovative products in the marketplace," states Ray Boudreaux, President of Body Masters.
